Training Leaders across Continents for collective action
Since 2022, we’ve partnered with the U.S. embassies in Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, the Kyrgyz Republic, Namibia, Tanzania, and Thailand to bring together leaders from Asia, Africa, and the U.S to learn about critical environmental issues in their countries.
We’ve trained nearly 200 university students and young professionals and supported them to launch projects that focused on:
Circular economy
Ecopreneurship
Renewable energy
Waste management
Wildlife conservation
Collectively, they’ve impacted thousands of community members, launched new businesses, diverted tons of agricultural waste from landfills, and helped build a groundswell of thinkers and doers in their countries.
Current Programs
We are currently running programs in Botswana, Kenya, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tanzania.
Applications will be open in October and November.
These programs are supported by the Department of State and will include a total of 205 university students and entrepreneurs from five countries, including the United States.
U.S. university students are eligible to join the Kyrgyz Republic Climate & Circular Economy Fellowship as teaching assistants. All other programs are open to residents of the local country.
